Hi, my name is Johann. I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. I was born in Sri Lanka, but English is my first language and I spent 14 years living in America. I love meeting new people and really enjoy helping others to improve their English skills. I make my lessons fun by using English pop culture (like comic books, TED talks and TV shows) as a common ground for exciting discussions and to build rapport. I studied Physics & Anthropology at The University of Alabama. I have 2 years in-class teaching experience at American Collage of Higher Education (Sri Lanka). I have been teaching English to children & adults online for the past year.
